DR. TODD R. BURNETT
F(riends) (I)n (S)urvival and (H)ope, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. Specifically, this organization has been formed to support other organizations conducting charitable activities, and to provide relief to the poor, distressed and underprivileged.
We further our purposes under this program by helping to make a difference in the crusade against cancer and other life threatening illnesses in communities through fundraising activities. Fundraising efforts will be focused on providing victims and their families with financial assistance to cover living expenses and financial aid for unexpected hardships brought on by their diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
Fundraising activities will be predominantly Save The BOOBers FISHing Rodeos and the catch produced by the event will be donated to local wildlife foundatoins to assist them in their mission.
Over the past ten years I have been committed to non-profit organizations and fundraising campaigns. My 25 plus year career in accounting and the government sector – as an auditor, small business owner and event coordinator and marketing director– serves as a platform for my volunteer work today. As an accountant/regulator by vocation my credibility and reputation speak for themselves and guarantee that I will be an excellent steward of all monies raised for and donated to F.I.S.H., Inc.
In addition to my nonprofit work and charitable fundraising I also successfully manage the assets of our family owned veterinary hospital.
I am well prepared to develop and manage Friends In Survival and Hope as well as establish and maintain relationships with other charities and nonprofits in our community.
Over the past twenty years I have been committed to the practice of veterinary medicine including excellent patient care and compassion for not only the patient but for the pet owner as well. My 30 plus years in animal care and 15 years in practice management– serves as a platform for my public service today. As a medical professional by vocation my credibility and reputation speak for themselves and guarantee that I will bring complete professionalism to F.I.S.H.
As a two time breast cancer survivor I understand the need for assistance both finacially and emotionally after diagnosis. As a retired loan officer at a local bank my credibility and reputation speak for themselves and guarantee that I will be an excellent steward of all monies raised for and donated to F.I.S.H.
